Right now, in Tignes, France, the European X Games are
happening. Yesterday was the men’s ski
slopestyle elimination. There were a total
of 18 skiers competing in this event, including Americans Tom Wallisch, Bobby Brown, and Nick Goepper. The top eight
skiers made it to the Finals, which were today. Tom Wallisch, the gold medalist in the Winter
X Games Aspen, was first in the qualification round, but came in second in the
finals. Bobby Brown stepped it up to
take the gold in the slopestyle finals today.

On Wenesday was the woman’s ski slopestyle finals. Kaya Turski, from Canada, took the gold
medal, making that her third consecutive gold medal in slopesyle at the X Games
Tignes. She had three consecutive medals
at X Games Aspen also, so that makes her the first X Games athlete to get a
double three-peat, which is three consecutive medals at two X Games events. Anna
Segal of Australia and Dara Howell from Canada took second and third place in
the event.
